System Utilities → File Management → Multiple File Renaming
SpaceTornado Renamer can mass rename hundreds or thousands of files in batches by using Search and Replace, Remove Characters, Change Case and Add Text -- all for free....

This utility is pretty useful. Easy interface, undo feature works great... recommended.

Was unable to sort original files by anything other 0-9 or a-z. I have files that need to be renamed in the order they were created not their names. This program did not work for that. sorting options will be added later i suppose.
