CleverCleaner by Sliver System Utilities → File Management → File and Directory Cleaners
CleverCleaner can save you work and time, and it creates a lot of free space on your hard disk. You sometimes don not know that little files and huge temporary directories (downloads and so on) are filling up your disk. The CleverCleaner locates these files and deletes them....

I'll have to re-test it to see if it's improved ....... certainly couldn't have gotten worse, lol

Okie dokie ....... I've not even allowed it to clean anything yet and already I'm recommending against using it, and thats just based on it's "File search masks" ....... why on earth would you want to allow it to delete a DBX file? (in this case, the deleted items DBX file for Outlook Express ....... deleting the contents of the DI folder is fine, but the DBX file itself shouldn't be deleted unless you want to have OE crying).
.... and why are .old, .gid and .dmp in there? .old is generally used when upgrading file's (i.e. .old is the version you go back to if things go ti*s up), .dmp is a massively helpful file when a BSOD occurs, and .gid file's are a part of Windows Help (not something you should be deleting!!!).
.... but here's the best part ....... when I loaded it, it had 3 possible boxes to tick, only one of which was pre-ticked ..... MY DATA DRIVE! (i.e. the one I store my file's on!!!), the Windows drive wasn't pre-ticked!!!
There ain't no way I'm gonna allow this to run on my lappy (I really wish my test machine hadn't died now :o( ).
