POP Peeper by Mortal Universe Internet → E-Mail → E-mail Notification
POP Peeper is an email notifier that runs in your Windows task bar and alerts you when you have new email on your POP3, IMAP (with IDLE support), Hotmail\MSN\LiveMail, Yahoo, Mail.com, MyWay, Excite, Lycos.com, RediffMail, Juno and NetZero accounts....

This is NOT a notifier - its a complete email program which replaces your existing Outlook Express or whatever else you're using. And during the installation it forces you to choose WHERE you want your email messages transferred to... NO WAY _OSE!
Hey guys at MORTAL UNIVERSE - anybody would have to be brain dead to allow your program that much control over their email.
Your write up about your program is outrageously incomplete and misleading.

My husband uses this program as a *notifier only* he uses Thunderbird as his email program. Maybe you misunderstood the set up instructions ;)

I tried about 4 other programs before this. I couldn't set
the settings (port, etc...) or they generated errors. Using
Win98, Thunderbird email program with Gmail. Pop3 email,
(not webmail, yahoo, aol...) It works well and provides both
alert and email access capability but it hasn't interfered with
my previous email setup. It is a large program with many
options that seem user friendly and flashes the scroll lock
led on the keyboard when mail is received. After 1 day of
use I like it. Thanks Mortal Universe!
