You have to install a program on both computers, on a first one (the one you want to control remotely) you have to run it in a server mode, on another one in a viewer mode. Server will 'listen' for the viewer requests.
You might want to read installation and configuration documentation.

Did anyone have the problem when u connected to the remote computer its background picture would disappear? if u know how to fix this could u email me the answer at joefinn89@hotmail.com

It's a configuration option look under "Misc." on the screenshot here.
It's a *very* useful option if one system is on a dial-up connection as it reduces the amount of data being exchanged.
BTW a forum is meant to be an EXCHANGE of ideas, opinions & information. If you post a request for help in a forum you should be prepared to return to the forum for your answer.
AND
If you provide an answer to someone's question privately POST IT INTO THE FORUM AS WELL!!
The one thing on the web that makes me throw a hissy fit is researching a problem & finding a forum discussion with no replies or comments posted! Or, even worse, loads of posts including several suggestions, but nothing to indicate if anything solved the problem!!!
