SAS Planet is a program for viewing and downloading high-resolution satellite imagery and conventional maps. You can use such services as Google Maps, DigitalGlobe, Yahoo! Maps, VirtualEarth, Gurtam, OpenStreetMap, iPhone maps, etc....

This program DOES NOT "download" maps or imagery except to it's own proprietary cache, as far as I can tell. It does not appear that you can put any of those map downloads in jpg or bmp or anything. Of course, I may have missed something, since all the help files are in Russian.
