concerned	# Posted: 24 Apr 2009 15:13 Reply I downloaded this several months ago and went to use it recently It did not work, granted I had a 1 GB mp3 file but I went to the Forum and found several others complaining about the same issue, they were told the developers would look into it and it was also suggested to D/L a file it did not correct the issue the initial complaint post Aug 15 2008, 05:12 PM the link can be found at URL in January another complaint of the same type was made a reply was posted in March to those with an issue, I'm not sure the support is the same with a purchased product I expect not but I would wait for the update before D/L this product. There are 2 other foruma

The first 2 didn't say what kind of file or what version of Windows they had & never bothered to return to the forum, The 3rd guy got an answer the day after he posted (10 days ago) & the 4th guy found an answer to his problem which he took the time & trouble to report there. I had a similar problem - 38Mb file to split into 7 parts, all turned out as 1Kb. I checked the FAQ on tech support and found a complaint of NO output. The solution offered was "Please download the mp3el.exe from our Components page." It worked for me... The components page is here... NCH Software does make their freeware support policy clear: Our Technical Support team will, on a best efforts basis, review posts and answer questions. However, this forum is designed to be self-help and relies on the Slice Audio File Splitter community to answer users' posts. Also (just to make sure your comment about NCH Software support isn't misinterpreted ;-) ) this company has free products OR shareware ones, they do NOT put out free & shareware versions of the same product.
