It doesn't work.... it takes ages making a fuss about the file names, then when it comes to actually converting it, it just claims it "doesn't have permission" to create something and crashes.

Just guessing here:
it isn't a new program (2004 & no updates)
It might depend on what version of Windows you have
using it on Vista is highly UNlikely to work
if you're logged in as administrator or not
it could have problems with long file names, spaces in the names, illegal characters in the names.
