If you donīt know AirAttack yet, just pop in and take a look, and maybe you might breathe some of the air, observe some of the nimbus on which the fame of this flight simulation once was founded. One thing is for certain, you will experience a wonderful nostalgic trip back into the history of flight simulation, which still calls out and attracts some "undaunted" sim fans from all over the world.
Probably the most thrilling fun which offers in-game chat that doesn't require hosting and all this with an small install file....

Been playing it since ages...2001, I think. Had to get off in 2006 because my router won't work with the new Server, but I still miss it.
I recommend this to anyone, behind the amazingly outdated graphics hides a great game, with an even better community.

Great game. Free-for-all arena, teams arena , squads and leagues to be part of. Flying is easy to get into (you don't need to press a zillion buttons to get off the ground) but the depth of the dogfighting gameplay is immense, with small differences in planes making a big difference in how you should best fly them. Also, WW2 planes are much more fun than Jet sims. Be aware there are lots of VERY good pilots, but many of them (not all!) will give you space and tips as a beginner. Ask for help and you should get a respose. It'll be worth it.

Installing and trying to run this game is an unbelievable nightmare. Flying a boeing jet without experience would be easier. How many hours do you to have to waste?

If you enjoy combat flight sims then you have found in Air Attack the perfect balance of action and realism. By todays standards the graphics are dated. But by Air Attack's standards every other game tries to simulate too much or too little. Welcome to the game you will keep coming back to.
This game started off being licensed to local or national servers. In the US, it was taken on in the old MS Zone. The game has a steep learning curve because of the sophistication of your opponents; they are all human and have explored the skills of dogfighting and the depth of the tactics available.
For those that learn how to survive, it turns into one of the most rewarding gaming experiences around. Be warned that for new players the installation, because of it's origins in locally licensed communities, is not as simple as it could be. All it requires here is patience; the central website provides instructions on every step of the way.

This is a life time game of developing your skills in flying WWII planes. In addition, you will find the people playing this game are real and will help you along the way. The community and the group of players are outstanding.
