Fiend by Thomas Grip
Games → Adventure
Fiend is a mixture of an adventure and an action game, much like famous games like Resident Evil and Alone in the dark and greatly inspired by the writings of HP Lovecraft. You guide your characater throught the adventure by investegating diffrent locations, reading books in the libaray, talking to various people, finding equipment and much more. The game engine is very suited for action and there for you can can expect suprises at any time....

Our original listing was 2002 - author has a new website, new company, & the game has now been tested on newer versions of Windows. Our links are updated, the program can be downloaded here.

Hello,
Right. I have shot everything, got the star amulet, the heart key and there is nothing to pick up. This is the first stage. What next? None of the "locked" doors open, the heart key doesn't work anywhere.
I don't get it!
How do you read books?
Someone please help!

UPDATE 29/09/09: all forum links for this game are now dead!
I see you got help blokeman from the author's forum.
In case any other FH visitors are interested there's a walk through for the game.

I did get help, yes. But I don't know if I have finished or not.
But now I want help uninstalling it. Ccleaner tools says path not valid and Control Panel Remove Programs does not work!!!
There had better be a way to uninstall it or I will get quite annoyed!

HELP!!!!
im on act 3 ive been through nearly every room exept the door that says "LABORATORY" and the door that has a skull through the door ive also got sum items:SWORD PLUG,SKULL PLUG,CANDLE PLUG,AIR RIFLE,MEDICINE FLASKS,OIL LAMP,MATCHES,MEAT HOOK, MOON AMULET AND THE STAR AMULET.
ive killed a couple of baddies and tried puttin the three plugs in the engraved holes next to the "LABORATORY"
PLZ HELP!!

UPDATE:
The author's forum & all reference to this program, except for the home page, have disappeared! I suspect the game is no longer supported & may soon be dumped completely.
You can try the author's 'Off topic' forum here but you will have to register to use it or even search it!
