Realms of Despair  by D.S.D. Software
Games → OnLine Games → Multiple Players

Realms of Despair is a multiplayer interactive medieval adventure game. It is text based, but supports ANSI color and RIP graphics... and can be very addictive....

It can't be that bad!!
It's been around since 1994, we listed it in 1998 & it's still around with most users online at one time: 872!!

It is text based & therefore not the usual run-of-the-mill, graphic-intensive, huge-download, game that's only playable on a state-of-the-art system with a broadband connection!
