At first glance, this was just what I needed. Unfortunately, it does not have an option of where the data file is kept so I can't share the data on the other computers in my small LAN.

I think you're missing something because this program is *portable*. The description says:
can be transported using a memory stick or a different means of removable storage.
Our download link is to the portable version. That means there's no install so *you* choose which folder to unzip the file into & you can choose a foler (or create a new folder) in your shared folder so that it's accessible on your LAN.
There are two download links on the author's page to 2 versions, one with installer & one that is portable.
