7 Quick Fix - 21 common Windows 7 fixes. There are times when you want just one quick fix, for example when you are under a virus attack that has disabled the Task Manager or the Registry Editor. Or when some new installation changed your Windows 7 behaviour and you want to restore it. Time to try "7 Quick Fix", portable, small and fast, no install process, just unzip to any folder and run it. Using 7 Quick Fix is very simple, just run it, and when hovering over a button, it will show the fix information at the bottom of the window. To apply a fix, just click on the button with the relevant fix. Some of the fixes may take effect only after a restart or logoff/logon. Clicking a fix button is safe and will not harm your computer although it might not fix your problem if it happened because of something other than the usual causes! Very important ! 7 Quick Fix will not remove any virus or malware! it will just enable some of the features that were disabled by the virus or other programs, you still have to take the required steps to remove the virus, but it will for sure help you fight back.

Core Affinity Resident remembers your application's core affinity settings and uses them automatically in the future. With the new dual and quad (and more in the future) core processors, Windows allows you to assign one or several cores to almost any application running in your system. But in order to do this the application must be running and then you manually modify the cores assigned to it. This tool is intended to assign automatically a single core or multiple cores to an application by default, without using the 'Task manager' of Windows. Once this window loses focus, TopWinPrio gives the window its standard status back. By default, TopWinPrio gives the active application a priority �AboveNormal�, but not �High� as many programs do. XP-More is a tool that helps manage Windows 7 Virtual Machines (XP Mode and any other). Specifically, it makes duplication of VMs a no brainer - no more raw XML editing and manually duplicating files. Windows 7 (Pro and up) comes with a built-in virtual machine, its first use is to provide backward compatibility by making a Windows XP SP3 VM available (known as XP Mode). However, other virtual machines can be created as well. The management of the virtual machines is done from a special folder, where virtual machines can be created, configured and launched but the built-in VM management capabilities are quite basic. If all you're looking for is an XP environment, you can make do with that. However, if you'd like to duplicate existing VMs, there's some delicate manual work you'll have to do. That is, unless you have XP-More! Just run XP-More.exe as is. It's portable, no installation needed.

ZoneIDTrimmer helps to detect and remove an alternative data stream (Zone.Identifier) stored by Windows in files downloaded from the Internet or email attachments saved on your disk, causing a security warning when these files are used. After installing this software affected files and folders containing such files will be marked in Windows Explorer with an exclamation sign and "Trim Zone ID" command will be added to the context (right click) menu. Using this command you can get rid of the Zone.Identifier stream in a selected file or folder and prevent security warnings. Note ZoneIDTrimmer doesn't change the content of your files.
