Arovax Shield is a personal security solution that is unlike any firewall, anti-virus or spyware remover. Rather than looking for spyware traces or tracking applications that secretly send or receive data over the Internet, Arovax Shield blocks any attempt by malicious software to add entries to the auto-start menu, change the registry, hijack or install itself into a browser or find any other way to stealthy get itself onto a PC. It runs silently in the background, watching for known and unknown parasites trying to intrude your system. It scans all the processes trying to make changes to your registry. Also it gives you the opportunity to manipulate the log file where the list of permitted or denied files are stored.

The CoolWebSearch Trojan installs dozens of bookmarks, adds a toolbar to Internet Explorer, changes your home page, significantly slows down the performance of your PC, and introduces some modifications which cause Windows to freeze, crash or randomly reboot.

KL-Detector is designed to provide a way to find out whether your activity is being recorded with a keylogger application. It uses the fact that most keyloggers create a hidden log file on your hard drive and therefore scans for any suspicious activity during a test period that you have to initiate. Basically, it asks you to use the keyboard for several minutes, type some text or do similar activities, while it is monitoring your system to check if it can detect any suspicious logging activity. KL-Detector is intended for occasional use and not as a permanently running program, as normal PC activity may cause false positives.
Not recommended for novice computer users.

Ever downloaded a 'Free' program only to find out it was Spyware, or even worse? Many will hide the Spyware functions and not tell you Spy Chaser lists them and lets you enter a program name to see if it's on this list. Many of those programs don't uninstall the Spyware even after uninstalling the main program leaving files on your system and entries in the registry you might never get rid of. Play it safe and check first!

You then have the option to add selected files to Quarantine. It will brute force kill the processes quickly one after another to avoid watchdogs and move the exe file to a Quarantine folder. Important Note: Spy-The-Spy is a file *monitor*. It doesn't differentiate between real spyware and a legit file that has been added. In general, this application doesn't replace anti-spyware but complements it. It doesn't deny access to the files, does not scan files, doesn't clean the registry that the spyware may change. It can only brute-force remove a file from its location.
