 » Noisy Mouse 2.0
download web site opinions problem?
Noisy Mouse is a simple program that adds separate sounds to right, left, and middle mouse button actions. It adds the three selections to the Windows Sounds properties, allowing you to use the native Control Panel applet to assign any of the three files included, or any .wav file your prefer. Noisy Mouse optionally resides in your system tray to provide access to editing the sounds or terminating the program anytime you don't want to hear the sounds. If you enjoy having your computer narrate your mouse moves, this freeware program is for you. An even more practical use would be to associate specific files with each click, so participants in learning sessions would be able to differentiate the left- and right-mouse clicks with auditory cues. Do you need click sounds? Download click sounds here.

This version is also capable of supporting up to 2 monitors.

 » Sonar 5.0
download web site opinions problem?
Sonar provides an expanded ring around the mouse pointer for users who have difficulty locating the pointer. Unlike the Windows XP version, this package places a permanent ring around the pointer with the option to vary the colour of the Sonar ring. It can be used either installed on your hard disk - when it stores it's configuration data in your user area, or stand alone on a pen drive, when it stores the configuration on the pen drive. You can change the shape to either a circle or a square, alter the diameter of the shape, alter the width of the line and change the colour. Whilst running, the application can be hidden and restored by clicking on Show/Hide or by using CTRL+ALT+S. Finally, this version of Sonar sits above the menu's in Windows, providing identification anywhere. One point to note. Windows Vista Aero causes Sonar5 to work incorrectly, therefore if they are enabled, Sonar 5 will turn off the Aero functions until it terminates.

 » KatMouse 1.04
download web site opinions problem?
The prime purpose of the KatMouse utility is to enhance the functionality of mice with a scroll wheel, offering 'universal' scrolling. Moving the mouse wheel will scroll the window directly beneath the mouse cursor (not the one with the keyboard focus, which is the default on Windows OSes). Another feature involves the wheel button. Since the wheel button is not consistently used in Windows, KatMouse can use it for a kind of task switching: with a click of the wheel button you can push a window to the bottom of the stack of windows that is your desktop, making a recovered window the active window. Note: KatMouse does not work together with Logitech Mouseware.

It was created with Microsoft mice that have a small, large and wheel button but it works with any mouse that has more than two standard buttons. The default actions are now hard-coded: small button shows the desktop, large button closes current application and wheel button emulates "double-click" action. On our web page, please read note 5 re. "installation" before downloading the utility.
