 » KatMouse 1.04
download web site opinions problem?
The prime purpose of the KatMouse utility is to enhance the functionality of mice with a scroll wheel, offering 'universal' scrolling. Moving the mouse wheel will scroll the window directly beneath the mouse cursor (not the one with the keyboard focus, which is the default on Windows OSes). Another feature involves the wheel button. Since the wheel button is not consistently used in Windows, KatMouse can use it for a kind of task switching: with a click of the wheel button you can push a window to the bottom of the stack of windows that is your desktop, making a recovered window the active window. Note: KatMouse does not work together with Logitech MouseWare but it does work with Logitech SetPoint.

 » Noisy Mouse 2.0
download web site opinions problem?
Noisy Mouse is a simple program that adds separate sounds to right, left, and middle mouse button actions. It adds the three selections to the Windows Sounds properties, allowing you to use the native Control Panel applet to assign any of the three files included, or any .wav file your prefer. Noisy Mouse optionally resides in your system tray to provide access to editing the sounds or terminating the program anytime you don't want to hear the sounds. If you enjoy having your computer narrate your mouse moves, this freeware program is for you. An even more practical use would be to associate specific files with each click, so participants in learning sessions would be able to differentiate the left- and right-mouse clicks with auditory cues. Do you need click sounds? Download click sounds here.

 » Sonar 5.0
download web site opinions problem?
Sonar provides an expanded ring around the mouse pointer for users who have difficulty locating the pointer. Unlike the Windows XP version, this package places a permanent ring around the pointer with the option to vary the colour of the Sonar ring. It can be used either installed on your hard disk - when it stores it's configuration data in your user area, or stand alone on a pen drive, when it stores the configuration on the pen drive. You can change the shape to either a circle or a square, alter the diameter of the shape, alter the width of the line and change the colour. Whilst running, the application can be hidden and restored by clicking on Show/Hide or by using CTRL+ALT+S. Finally, this version of Sonar sits above the menu's in Windows, providing identification anywhere. One point to note. Windows Vista Aero causes Sonar5 to work incorrectly, therefore if they are enabled, Sonar 5 will turn off the Aero functions until it terminates.

 » WizMouse 1.0+
download web site opinions problem?
Makes your mouse wheel behave the way it always should have. The WizMouse application was designed to be a mouse enhancement utility that makes your mouse wheel work on the window currently under the mouse pointer, instead of the currently focused window. This means you no longer have to click on a window before being able to scroll it with the mouse wheel. This is a far more comfortable and practical way to make use of the mouse wheel. WizKey can also optionally enable the mouse wheel in applications that don't support it. It does this by translating mouse wheel commands into scroll bar commands that all applications can understand and process. Once WizMouse has been installed and is active, configure it by double clicking on the WizMouse icon in the system tray.
