  "Blank And Secure" is a portable tool to securely delete data. Secure delete files are required to block the recovering of deleted data. Secure deletion is possible with this program, because "Blank And Secure" overwrites the data with zeros before deleting, data recovery is impossible after this operation. So please only use if the data really should be permanently deleted. Options include: Reset - Clear the List Contents (not delete the files). Delete - Overwrite folder and files with NULL and delete; Overwrite X times; Overwrite the data X times with NULL; Delete Delay X-sec.: At this time you can stop the erasing procedure with the ESC key; Fill the free space with null - This will remove the standard deletion tracks from the hard drive.

  DeleteOnClick is a very simple-to-use program that securely deletes (wipes) files so that they cannot be undeleted or recovered. Implemented as a Windows Explorer extension so you just need to right-click on the files then choose 'Securely Delete' to wipe the files. DeleteOnClick completely deletes files in one click and the data becomes unrecoverable, and also has the option to wipe free disk space. Warning! Use with caution. Once a file is wiped it cannot be undeleted or recovered with any tools. A comprehensive help file is included, although you won't need to read it!

  DOT Delete is a program I created because I work on a Macintosh part of the time and on a Windows computer part of the time. I often transfer files between the two using a USB key. The problem is that when a folder is accessed on a Macintosh it creates a bunch of little "DOT Files" that all start with "._", it also scatters ".DS_Store" files all over the place. It's very annoying to have to delete these files by hand on the Windows computer, so this program will scan a folder and delete all these files for you. Quick and Easy. NOTE: THIS PROGRAM PERMANENTLY DELETES FILES! Look at every file in the file list to make sure it's something you want to delete before hitting the "delete all" button.

  FileShredder is a simple application that can be used for deleting unwanted files on your hard-drive. Completely portable, no installation required. Simply run the download file, drag and drop files over the program window then click the 'Delete Files" button. We all know that Windows doesn't really delete files on you drive and with some of the software available any of the files could be recovered. To date (April 2010) I have not been able to recover any of the files I deleted with FileShredder. So try it BUT be careful because you will not be able to recover the files you deleted with this program!

  When a file is deleted, it is not completely removed from the hard disk so it is actually possible for somebody to recover these files using file recovery programs. Shredder is a freeware program, with a very easy-to-use interface, that lets you simply select files and shred them. The files once shredded, even if recovered will not show the original contents. Attractive Matrix type Green interface.
Due to a problem with file hosting this program may not be downloadable from the author's site for a couple of days. 6 August 2007.

  NoTrace is a powerful "I/O Trace Prevention Utility" which will help you eliminate files which were marked by the system as deleted but were not physically removed. Whenever we delete a file, either manually or automatically, Windows does not remove it physically from your hard drive. It marks it in the file system as being removed so, although a "useable" file resides there, its space can be used/recycled whenever space is needed for other files. By using NoTrace you can protect your local disk against intruders and ensure that deleted files cannot be recovered.

  The main purpose of "Prevent Restore" is to make deleted files and folders unrecoverable. "Prevent Restore" will overwrite all free space on your hard disks that can contain fragments of deleted files with random data to avoid any possibility of recovery. It uses several security algorithms (you can replace deleted data with random characters, digits, spaces etc.). While writing "Prevent Restore" fills out information to the end of each cluster, leaving no chance to restore even just one word! SDelete (Secure Delete) is such an application. You can use SDelete both to securely delete existing files, as well as to securely erase any file data that exists in the unallocated portions of a disk (including files that you have already deleted or encrypted). SDelete implements the Department of Defense clearing and sanitizing standard DOD 5220.22-M, to give you confidence that once deleted with SDelete, your file data is gone forever. If you want to permanently delete files all you have to do is force Windows to write a new data at the same location of the file that you want to delete. This is how a secure delete program works.   UltraShredder is a standalone, USB portable file shredder which deletes sensitive files by overwriting them with random characters, saving it to disk each time, and then bypasses the recycle bin, thus acting as your personal, portable file shredder. If the file were to be recovered by a data recovery program, they would only be able to see unintelligible characters on disk where the file used to be. The program is a great tool to destroy sensitive data, and is very small with a minute memory footprint, and makes no changes to your system whatsoever. Use with caution, when it's gone it's REALLY gone!
