OpenSwing is an Open Source components library that provides a rich set of advanced graphics components for developing desktop applications and HTTP/RMI based Java applications/RIAs based on Swing front-end. These components are more sophisticated than those provided with Swing and can be manipulated directly inside the UI designer of the IDE. It also provides adapters for Hibernate, JPA, iBatis, etc. OpenSwing provides a complete solution (a framework and advanced swing components with data binding capabilities) to quickly and easily develop rich-client applications.

» JHeatChart 0.5

JHeatChart is a one class Java API for generating heat map charts. Very few charting APIs seem to contain the facility to create heat maps (heat charts). So this is just a one off class for creating simple heat maps. It is not a full featured charting API, and you cannot use it to create line charts, bar charts or pie charts. But it is pretty good at its one job – heat charts. JHeatChart is released under a GPL license and is Free to use and modify. The charts generated are created as Java Image objects which can be incorporated into a GUI or saved to a file.

Sav Zigzag is a mobile object-relational DBMS that represents a Java library (API interface) working on PC, PDA and mobile phones. This API interface forms new powerful Java/Zigzag language, more efficient than PL/SQL. Zigzag algebraic expressions enable you to process tabular and XML data. Pow! is a free integrated software development environment for use under Microsoft Windows. Presently Pow! can be used to develop Java and Oberon-2 programs. Pow! offers all the functions known from other programming environments: a multi-document-editor, embedded compile- and link calls, integrated make- and build-algorithms for project-management and online help for the environment Additionally Pow! supports special features like meta-projects (so-called templates) and integration of external software-tools. At the moment Pow! offers support for two languages: the Java compiler from Sun and the Oberon-2 compiler from Robinson Associates. The Oberon-2 compiler is fully integrated into the Pow! Distribution. The Java compiler has to be downloaded separately from Sun. Java Users Pow! is a comfortable environment around the command line oriented tools which come with Suns JDK. Compilation and program invocation are available at the touch of a button while the integrated editor allows to view and edit multiple source files at the same time. Oberon-2 Users Pow! offers a full implementation of the language Oberon-2. Pow! Is therefore the ideal choice for anyone who would like a native Windows based development environment for Oberon-2. Pow! also includes the Oberon-2 library OPAL, which makes it easy to create native Windows programs without getting into direct contact with the Windows API. Pow! is distributed with the full source code for - the 32 bit Oberon-2 compiler - the BOOSTED editor - the OPAL library - the Oberon runtime system - the start-up code which is used for Oberon applications.
