FTPEdit is a combination between a FTP (file transfer protocol) program and a text editor. FTPEdit allows you to locally open, edit, and save a file on a remote FTP server without having to first download the file with a separate FTP program. No longer do you have to use one program to download the file and a second to edit it. Then use the FTP program again to upload it once editing is complete. FTPEdit works like any other text editor. The one exception is when you open or save a file to a remote site you are prompted for extra information.
