The Vorbital Player is an OpenAL-based Ogg Vorbis file player. It is small and compact in order to take up as little screen space as possible (though you can, of course, resize the window if you would like a larger playlist). Double-clicking on a file in the playlist will cause it to start playing. If, for some reason, you have trouble getting audio to play using this program, you should install the OpenAL redistributable, which is available from Creative Labs' site. VorbisExt is an Open Source, property sheet shell extension that can edit the comments in vorbis (.ogg) files and display information about vorbis files. It provides a Comments page for the comment editing, each comment is made up of a name/value pair, Vorbis allows the addition, removal, modification and reordering of the comments. VorbisExt also provides an Information page for viewing Vorbis information. Ogg Vorbis is a new audio compression format roughly comparable to other formats used to store and play digital music, such as MP3, VQF, AAC, and other digital audio formats. It is different from these other formats because it is completely free, open, and unpatented, use Vorbis-Tools to make your own Ogg Vorbis files.
