  yPlay is a freeware MP3, Ogg*, WMA, WAV, FLAC* and Midi player with multiple playlists and a light, clean interface. You can quickly find and play a particular track or playlist, there's a filter built into the main screen. Type in part of the title or artist and the list will only display matching tracks. Double-click the track you want, close the player to the system tray and forget about it. And if you don't feel like listening to the next track, the system tray icon has a right-click menu with skip, pause, play, etc built right into it. yPlay also has an option to speak all controls (and file names) aloud as you move the mouse over them. You need the MS Speech API installed for this. Many players are the digital equivalent of having your teenage kids move back home. They take over your computer, leave odd things all over the place, and you never know exactly what they're doing behind your back. yPlay 2 is designed to quickly find and play a particular track or playlist. It has a more familiar interface that allows you to quickly work out how to use it.

  Easy List&Play is a small audio player for XP or newer versions of Windows. It has a simple interface and contains the most common features that are expected from an audio player. It supports various file formats (*.mp3, *.wav, *.wma, *.asx, *.mid) and Playlist management (build, save and usage). A Playlist can be arranged on the fly and played, but can also be saved and then recalled and played at a different time. A playlist can be started from the first missed song so that you can start where you stopped instead of going back to the beginning or searching for the last song played. No installation process is required. If you get a 'missing file' error for MSCOMCTL.ocx or COMDLG32.ocx, you can download and register the lacking ocx as suggested in the readme.txt included in the zip file.
