Noise Fun is a fun tool to generate human sounds such as laughter, coughing, giggling or even belching sounds. Don't share the opinion of a colleague, comment on his point of view by adding a funny sound. Better be careful though, not everyone understands that sort of fun! ;-) Simple copy&paste installation without setup, all of our tools consist of a maximum of 2 files: the application (.exe) itself and a database file (.xml) if necessary. No data garbage on your hard disc, our tools don't create files outside the current directory, and they don't write entries to the Windows registry.

LASTAR is a non-interactive audio editor which, by analysing audio content, allows you to automatically normalize average loudness (RMS amplification+L/R balancing) and split a batch of audio files (wav or mp3). The opposite of the usually available software, loudness normalisation is done on signal power. This leads to a louder and more homogeneous result than the usual "peak" normalisation, in particular on live recordings. Its purposes are: To split and normalise digitized analog tapes or vinyls; To split and normalise live recordings from microphones (ex ZOOM H2 recordings); Fast and homogeneous normalization of a group of files (for a compilation for example); Loudness and dynamic reduction for listening in a noisy environment (car, etc.); and so on... The goal of this software is to be very fast and easy to use : the most efficient computing techniques have been implemented (without worsening audio quality), and there are very few parameters to set (most of them are automatically adjusted by analysing the file).

Split MP3 is a simple little program that can split any of your MP3 files easily. You can directly save the output to an MP3 file without converting it and hence finishing the job quickly. You can save the final output in MP3, WAV, AAC, WMA, FLAC, M4A or AC3 format. You can also set the final bitrate and hence decide the final size and quality.
PLEASE NOTE: this program offers to install the "Relevant Knowledge" *OPTIONAL* add-on, if you don't want it make sure that you click the "Decline" button on the FIRST install screen - it looks like the program EULA but it isn't, that's on the next screen! It may also try to install a browser toolbar at the END of the setup unless you uncheck that option so be alert during install! See also this FH forum topic for more comments on this kind of add on.

AnalogX DXPad is a very simple notepad, written inside of a DirectX Audio plugin. What this gives you the ability to do is store little notes in the actual data file of the application you normally use, and that's not all. Since DXPad is a DirectX plugin, you can have as many different notepads as you need. Best of all, DXPad has VERY low overhead, one of the testers actually had 64 DXPad's open and running with a less than 6% CPU utilization! In order to use DXPad, your application must support DirectX Audio Plugins, and must also support realtime processing (such as Paris or WaveLab). If your application forces you to render the output from DirectX plugins, you're out of luck and should complain to the people who wrote it, because there's nothing I can do to help you out.

Make your synth pad come to life with your voice courtesy of AnalogX Vocoder. Make it sound as if an instrument is speaking, or get more expression into a robotic sounding voice. Simply supply a wave file with some speech (or singing), supply another wave file with an instrument playing, and voila! Your instrument will now be modulated by the speech wave and it will sound as if it's talking. You can vary the effect from very slight to almost unrecognizable, from smooth and flowing to hard and rhythmic. » AnalogX Vocal Remover (DirectX) or (WinAmp) 1.03

AnalogX Vocal Remover works on the same principles that the hardware removers do - that in most instances vocals are equally mixed in both channels, and can identified and therefore removed by simply changing the phase on one channel by 180 degrees. While this won't remove vocals in all instances, it does work in many cases, and can sometimes be used to remove bass or breakbeat sections as well, which I find to be GREAT for sampling! Depending on the effects used on the vocals, sometimes the reverb or ambience of the vocals is left. In order to use the DirectX Vocal Remover, your application must support DirectX Audio Plugins, and must also support either realtime or non-realtime processing (such as Paris, Cakewalk, WaveLab, CoolEdit, etc). Vocal Remover REQUIRES a stereo sound streams, and supports either 16bit or 32bit data types. In order to use the WinAmp Vocal Remover, you must already have WinAmp installed in your system; it REQUIRES a stereo sound stream, and supports only 16bit data types.

EVPmaker is an experimental software for the generation of acoustic "raw material" for recordings of paranormal voices on tape, also known as "Electronic Voice Phenomena" (EVP). For this purpose, the program divides any recording of speech into short segments and then plays them back continuously in randomly order. The resulting "gibberish" still sounds like speech, but can't be understood anymore, and is therefore suited as background noise for EVP recordings. Of course, the program can also be used to generate special acoustical or musical effects.

In response to a post in the Cakewalk newsgroup (they mentioned 'AnalogX' in it, so I saw it), I wrote this very quick little utility, which allows you to invert the phase of a DirectX audio stream. Not terribly useful for anyone who's using just about any other digital audio system, but for the ones that don't support this most basic feature, it's a real godsend. In order to use Phase, your application must support DirectX Audio Plugins, and must also support either realtime or non-realtime processing (such as Paris, Cakewalk, WaveLab, CoolEdit, etc). Phase will work with any number of channels, and supports either 16bit or 32bit data types.
