You can move back or forward one measure by hitting PageUp and PageDown, LilyEditor will save the current measure and load the next for you. LilyEditor has an integrated preview window, which will show you - as you type in - which notes / rests / clef, Lilypond would output. PianoRollComposer is a different way to view and compose MIDI music. It uses the standard music notation G and F clefs, but notes are entered in the piano roll format, so it shows the music played absolutely accurately. No font or MIDI keyboard is needed. And of course the music created with it can be played by any MIDI player, and it can play and display any MIDI music.
