  SinGen is a simple software sound generator that outputs sine (sinusoidal) or square wave with a desired frequency or white noise to a sound card. The program is very useful in tuning and repairing various audio devices, power amplifiers, pre-amplifiers etc. Sample rate is 44100Hz / 48000Hz (selectable), 16 bit, mono.
Note: author's website is hosted in Europe & is sometimes difficult to get to, the program can also be downloaded from "Download.com".
