  Excel2GED is an Excel file that features the ability to convert Excel data into the genealogy standard, gedcom format including the ability to specify family relationships. Gedcom generation is initiated with a push of a VBA coded macro button. Excel2GED-family distinguishes itself from other Excel2gedcom converters that do not "draw" the relationships but only add the individuals to the gedcom file and require family information to be re-added by hand in a family tree program such a Personal Ancestry File, Legacy Family Tree and Family Tree Maker. With Excel2GED-family, as long as a parent or spouse is indicated this interrelationship information can be preserved.

  FinFamily is an application for managing your genealogical data. The Java application is swing based with Webstart option. It uses PostgreSQL database for storage. FinFamily has extra features for Finnish genealogy but is not limited to Finland. FinFamily is currently available in English, Finnish, Swedish and German.   GED2WWWF uses a GEDCOM format file which is converted into several HTML files for web publishing of genealogical personal work. This is an international version of GED2WWW in French, English, Dutch, German, Danish Swedish, Spanish. It's up to you... and if you want it in an other language, you just have to modify a text file!

  The Gen Viewer Applet is a Java applet which allows you to browse a GEDCOM file from the web. This applet provides five different views of the genealogy data. Family Group- individual being displayed including parents, spouses, and children. Pedigree - five generation pedigree chart. Descendant - all of the descendants for the selected individual in a scrollable window. Alpha List - all individuals in the data base in alphabetical order by last name. Statistics - counts of all unique surnames contained in the file displayed in list form. Notes - Displays any notes that I have included for the currently selected individual. Generally this includes source references for the information gathered about the person.
Note: this is an online Java applet, there is a downloadable version but it is shareware.

  Kinship Plotter can tell you how two people in a family tree are related. Ever wonder if someone is a second cousin twice removed or a third cousin once removed. Trying to calculate those type of relations can be tricky but KP can quickly provide that information.

  Simple Family Tree is for building and viewing a family tree quickly and easily - It displays ancestors and descendants of a selected individual (it reads and writes files in Gedcom format). You can enter notes, events, a second name, and marriage details for each individual. Reads birth/death dates from My Heritage GED files.

  Wintree is a software making it possible to represent complete family trees of ascent and descent. For an individual you can represent on the same page 62 generations of ascending and 62 generations of descendants. Its characteristic is that it optimizes the tree by minimizing spaces between the boxes. Thus on A4 page, you can represent while remaining readable to 250 people on a dozen generations. The software makes it possible to print on any Windows printer. An impression on a A0 sheet makes it possible to visualize a very great number of individuals and often all its genealogy. The software was tested with a tree comprising 9,000 people out of 42 generations.
