download web site opinions problem?
ChaosPro is a freeware fractal generator for the Windows operating system, able to create beautiful images based on mathematical formulas. It uses "multi windowing" and "multi threading", so you can calculate several fractals at the same time in different windows. Internally it's based on 24 bit and thus can create smooth true color images. Its palette editor lets you have full control over the colors: You can define paths inside the 24 bit color space. With its keyframing technique and its spline interpolation algorithm it can create smooth (AVI) animations of arbitrary parameters: So for example you can zoom in while the fractal is morphing. Or you can fly over a 3D fractal while basic parameters change. ChaosPro can create 3D views from 2D fractals and optionally makes use of OpenGL: The user has full control over the height transfer function: ChaosPro lets you visually adjust a spline function.

download web site opinions problem?
Fractal Explorer is a freeware fractal generator that can produce mysterious and beautiful, mathematically-based, images. Not just a tool for professionals, FE can provide hours of entertainment for beginners and experts alike! Fractal Explorer can render the classical polinomial fractal sets (like the Mandelbrot-set, the Julia-set, the Newton-set and their variations), 4D-complex fractals (called «quaternions»), 3D «strange» attractors, and IFS. Also, FE has many features for the creation of special effects and improvement of the pictures.

download web site opinions problem?
This Mandelbrot and Julia set explorer allows you to apply a standard color scheme and magnify chosen areas of fractals. You can also design your own color schemes and use a touch-up pen to get your image looking how you want it. The resulting images can be saved or used in other applications from the system clipboard. You can also save entire series of images.

MSPlotter (Mandelbrot Set Plotter) helps you create fractal images using the Mandelbrot Set and the Julia Set. Just enter values for Center X, Center Y, Range, and Power of Equation, press the "Plot" button to begin the process of rendering your image, which may be saved in bmp format. Options let you select image and window colors, specify detail value, and more. Fractal AVI movies can also be created with the built-in AVI compiler. MSPlotter also serves as a nice picture viewer with the newly added GIF animation reader.   » more info, screenshot

 » Sierpinski Fractal 1.1
download web site opinions problem?
The Sierpinski fractal (the triangle of triangles) can be constructed by repeatedly choosing a random midpoint between a current point and one of the three pre-set points. At each iteration the newly chosen midpoint becomes the new current point. This small program uses this famous algorithm to draw the Sierpinski triangle.
Requires the Microsoft .NET Framework, will run on other versions of Windows if this is installed.

download web site opinions problem?
Sterling2 is an excellent and free fractal generating program based on Stephen Ferguson's Sterling. It draws very rich images and has 50 algorithms to choose from. I spent some 100 to 200 hours changing formulae (that's the quick part) and then testing them to see which ones produced interesting images. It turned out that creating good formulae was much more difficult than I expected. In the process I made and saved some 1,600 fractals. That's not counting about 30,000 that I partially made but did not save. There is no installation - just put the exe and dll files in the same directory and fire up the exe. You will be making fractals within seconds! If you wish,

The Sterlingware Fractal generator program has been around for a few years and has become very popular without any Help files or documentation. Ask someone who's been using the program for a few months, they would probably tell you it's so well designed and easy to use that it really doesn't need any explanation. I hope to make the program even easier to use by sharing what I've learned from the hundreds of hours I've spent exploring fractals with Sterlingware.

XaoS is a fast portable real-time interactive fractal zoomer. It displays the Mandelbrot set (among other escape time fractals) and allows you to zoom smoothly into the fractal. Various coloring modes are provided for both the points inside and outside the selected set. In addition, switching between Julia and Mandelbrot fractal types and on-the-fly plane switching is provided. Image and animation galleries and tutorial available, also source code.
