Aero Adjuster is a little app that adds a bit of Windows 8 functionality to Windows 7. (Again, no Vista support.) It sits in the tray, automatically detects when you change your wallpaper/when it is changed as part of Win 7's desktop slideshow, and changes the Aero color to fit that wallpaper. You can set Aero Adjuster to invert the color before applying it; select what part of the image should be taken when calculating the average color; adjust the Aero brightness.

Bored with the pale Explorer Toolbar within the colorful windows environment? IEmage offers a way to change your Toolbar Image locally, you just can display any BMP or JPG image independent of its size as a Background Image. This Picture will be visible in the Toolbar of the Explorer as well as in Outlook Express! You can even create a new image with IEmage. Just take a personal picture, resize it, use some filter functions and choose a suitable tiled, massive or gradient background. Then save it as personal Toolbar Image.
Note: this is NOT a toolbar or a toolbar program, it's a *cosmetic* program to change the background at the top of the IE or Outlook Express page.

Sound Association (formerly Souser-Sound Association) lets you easily assign sound events to any Windows executable file. For instance, you can have a specific .wav file play when you open Word, another when you fire up Notepad, and still another when you launch your Web browser. Besides Open sound events, you can add hooks for Close, Maximize, Minimize, Restore Up, Restore Down, and more. Just type in the program's friendly name, browse for its .exe, and check off the sound hooks you want to add. Then, push a button to go directly to the Control Panel Sounds area to assign .wav files to your new sound events.
